You'll support our carpenters, piling crew and barge master on marine and coastal jobs. It’s physical, outdoor work in all weather, in a small crew where everyone pitches in.

Key responsibilities

Jetty, pontoon and boardwalk builds and repairs

Piling and rock placement

Formwork, steel fixing and concrete pours

Handling and moving materials on land, on the barge and over water

Site set-up, pack-up and housekeeping

Demolition and removal of old structures

About you

White Card and driver's licence

Fit for heavy manual work and comfortable working on and around water, including being able to swim

Reliable, on time and willing to learn

Happy with early starts and travel within NSW

Construction or labouring experience is preferred, but attitude counts more

HR licence (useful)

Experience on boats, barges or in marine trades (helpful)





$38 to $48 per hour plus super, depending on experience and qualifications, above the Building and Construction General On-site Award

Guaranteed 76 paid hours a fortnight, with busy weeks often running to 50 hours

Training and ticket support, with a pathway into marine construction trades

Varied work, from private jetties to government infrastructure
