Kick-start your career in a cutting-edge radiopharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This is a rare graduate/early-career opportunity to join a clinical-stage organisation working on therapies designed to improve outcomes for cancer patients. You’ll be supported by a high-performing team as you build hands-on experience across GMP manufacturing and QC testing in a fast-paced, time-critical operation.
The Opportunity
As a Graduate Radiopharmaceutical Scientist, you’ll learn end-to-end manufacturing and testing processes for radiopharmaceutical products and associated devices, working within a sterile, safety-controlled laboratory environment. This role suits a strong graduate chemist (or similar science/engineering background) who’s practical, detail-focused, and comfortable in a regulated setting.
What you’ll be doing
You will be trained and supported to:
- Assist with GMP manufacturing activities in a sterile environment
- Perform in-process and final product QC checks
- Support equipment setup, verification/validation activities, and documentation
- Assist with troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives
- Accurately record results and contribute to reporting to meet critical timelines
Roster
This site runs on early starts due to time-sensitive manufacturing and testing requirements. You must be comfortable with full-time early morning starts (4:00am / 4:30am), with standard 8-hour shifts. Occasional earlier starts or later finishes may be required depending on production needs.
What you’ll need
We’re open to graduate and early-career candidates with the right attitude and foundational technical knowledge. Ideal background includes:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Nuclear Medicine, Physics, or similar
- Engineering graduates (Chemical / Mechanical / Biomedical) are also encouraged to apply
- Understanding of GMP (even if academic/limited exposure) and why it matters
- Interest in manufacturing + quality, strong attention to detail, and confidence working under time pressure
- Comfort working with radioactive materials in a highly regulated setting (licensing supported by the company)
