You will provide consistent, respectful support that promotes emotional safety, independence, choice and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

- Delivering person-centred, trauma-informed support tailored to the participant's needs and goals.
- Supporting daily routines, appointments and community participation.
- Building trust while maintaining transparent professional boundaries.
- Responding calmly to distress and using appropriate de-escalation strategies.
- Following individual support plans and relevant safety procedures.
- Maintaining accurate progress notes and promptly reporting concerns.
- Working respectfully with the participant, their support network and other professionals.

About you

- Formal training or qualifications in trauma-informed care.




- Extensive experience supporting people with complex mental health needs and trauma histories.
- Demonstrated experience supporting people affected by domestic and family violence.
- A sound understanding of consent, confidentiality, emotional safety and professional boundaries.
- Strong communication skills, reliability and a calm, compassionate approach.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- A valid driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
