Senior Bookkeeper | Flexible Hours & Work From Home

Support small business clients by completing bookkeeping work, including reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and day-to-day financial management. Build client relationships through regular communication, whether in person, by phone, or online.

Key responsibilities

Complete bookkeeping work including reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and day-to-day financial management

Build client relationships through regular communication, whether in person, by phone, or online

Coordinate with colleagues, follow up outstanding information, and help meet agreed deadlines

Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS and assist clients with GST and payroll compliance obligations

Support and mentor team members and identify practical process improvements

Maintain clear records by keeping client notes, records, and workflow tasks accurate and up to date

About you

At least 5 years' experience in Australian bookkeeping within a public practice accounting firm

Strong working knowledge of Xero and other cloud-based accounting systems

Experience preparing and lodging BAS, IAS, payroll, GST, and Single Touch Payroll (STP) obligations

Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail,



and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines

A proactive mindset and a genuine willingness to support colleagues and contribute to team success
