Quality Utility – Forrestfield (WA)

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Quaker Oats team as an Quality Utility at our Forrestfield site.

- Location: Forrestfield (WA)
- Shift: Day – Sunday to Friday 5:30am to 1:30pm
- Position: Permanent full time

Responsibilities

- Carry out routine and deep cleaning of production areas, warehouses, offices, amenities, and common areas
- Clean and sanitise floors, walls, equipment, workstations and high-touch surfaces to maintain hygiene standards
- Manage waste disposal and replenish site consumables
- Follow hygiene, sanitation and safety procedures
- Safely use and store cleaning chemicals (all PPE provided) and promptly report any hygiene, pest, or contamination concerns.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, pressure washers and floor polishers safely.




- Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the hygiene team

Qualifications

- Experience in food manufacturing, hygiene, sanitation, or industrial cleaning (preferred but not essential)
- Understanding of GMP, food safety, HACCP, and SQF principles.
- Knowledge of cleaning processes, chemical handling, contamination prevention, and allergen control
- Strong attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to safely work with production equipment.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and available to support weekend (Sunday) cleaning activities when required.
