CASUAL / ONGOING | MELBOURNE | ROLLING APPLICATIONS
Austco Polar Cold Storage is a leading cold storage and logistics facility based in Laverton North. We are looking for a hands-on Trade Assistant / Maintenance Technician to support our facility operations.
This role will suit someone with practical maintenance experience who can work across a range of tasks and environments. Training will be provided for specialised areas (e.g. refrigeration), however we require a solid base level of hands-on experience. This is not an entry-level position.
Core Requirements - Essential
- Experience using a wide range of hand and power tools
- Exposure to general facilities maintenance (basic plumbing, building repairs, fault finding)
- Robust mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of OH&S; requirements
- Electrical experience
- EWP (Elevated Work Platform) licence
- Comfortable working at heights
- Basic welding capability
