Role: Python Developer

Work location: Sydney, NSW

Role type: Permanent/Full time

We use a broad range of technologies, tools, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know them all, but experience in several of the following areas will help you succeed in this role:

Must have:

- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including system design, design patterns, clean code practices, and automated testing.
- Proven hands-on development experience, preferably in Python, building scalable and maintainable production systems.
- Experience designing and delivering cloud-native, distributed or event-driven systems and contributing to technical design decisions.
- Experience building or integrating APIs, data pipelines, workflow automation and data-intensive applications.
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD,



and engineering automation, with experience using tools such as GitHub Actions or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
- Knowledge of observability practices, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and production support.
- Understanding of secure software development practices and DevSecOps principles.

Nice to have:

- Experience or knowledge of banking, lending, working capital, trade finance, commodities or financial markets will be highly regarded

Skills must have:

- Python, AWS, DevOps, Trade finance (Trading) domain expertise, as he/she needs to work closely with the Business team (Trading SME’s).
