A bit about the role

In this role you will work alongside one of our experienced Design Managers across both front end ECI work and project delivery. You will be responsible for maximising returns to Hacer by successfully managing all stages of the project design from initial concept, award of contract, detailed design, construction and commissioning on site

We are looking for someone with a passion for BIM who can support our projects across the board and champion BIM across our business.

What else?

Delivering the contracted scope of the project within the (budget/safety/time/quality) objectives as set by the company to the client's satisfaction.

Continually monitoring the design development and reporting changes in scope and/ or variations to remain within budget and then notifying the Project Manager when this may constitute a head contract variation.





Continually monitoring progress of the design program against milestones to identify problems and make adjustments as required.

Evaluating alternative design and engineering proposals ensuring they are within the project budget and timeframe.

Contributing to the overall process of design documentation and its control for the scope of work.

Undertaking thorough document checking at all phases of design to ensure coordination of documents are maintained.

Liaising with Council and authorities to close out all construction pre-commencement items.

Identifying errors and omissions in documents and providing written directions/drawing mark-ups to consultants for rectification.

And a bit about you..

A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management / Architecture or similar

Experience working on large scale construction projects in a similar role

Experience using Revit or BIM360 preferred

Building and maintaining relationships

Effective communication style

Working in a team environment

Ability to collaborate
