The Operations Systems Associate contributes to business success by providing quality customer service to clients with holdings in managed funds and term deposits as well as managing Vestima system transactions related to asset servicing, fund set up, trading authorization and outgoing payments.

Key responsibilities

- Assess and evaluate global Vestima systems procedures pertaining to the daily processing of Trades, Income or Transfers within SLA timeframes
- Provide customer support by responding to enquiries from registries, wrap platforms, custodians and clients regarding the execution of trades with the implementation of the global Vestima system
- Ensure bank reconciliations and cash movements are efficiently processed by Vestima and conduct investigation where problems arise
- Facilitate continuous improvement of processes and operational initiatives by providing recommendations on the enhancement and efficiency of Vestima system pertaining to the lifecycle of funds administration
- Test systems enhancements and update procedures to Clearstream Australia standardsTrain internal users and external clients on Vestima system and troubleshoot problems in a timely manner

About you





- Tertiary level qualifications in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years working experience at a Custodian, Wrap Platform, Financial Advisory Firm, Registry or Financial Institution
- Minimum 1 year working experience in Vestima operations system
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work with minimum supervision within a collaborative and collegiate team dynamic
- Excellent management of priorities and deadlines within a fast-paced workplace
- Adaptive and agile work style to changing requirements
- Australia work authorisation
