As summer approaches, we are excited to launch our new summer menu, refreshing cocktails and locally crafted beers on tap. We pride ourselves on fresh, seasonal, locally sourced and sustainable produce, including seafood, gluten-free and vegan options.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Restaurant Operational Manager to join our dynamic team for the exciting summer season and beyond.

The Position:

Full-time

- Lead the FOH team to deliver exceptional customer service and memorable dining experiences.
- Achieve business targets for sales, beverage costs and labour percentages.




- Maintain effective communication between Directors, management, FOH and kitchen teams.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, rostering, performance management and staff development.
- Oversee FOH stock control and monthly stocktakes.
- Work closely with Head Chefs and Sous Chefs to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace regulations and WHS requirements.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator on promotions, campaigns and business development.
- Build solid relationships within the local community and represent Fishheads professionally.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar leadership role.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive, hands-on and solution-focused approach.
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced hospitality environment.

Weekly salary of $80K to $95k plus super, plus tips.
