Osborne Park
At Armada, we focus on practical ways of working that help people do their best work, without losing sight of life outside the office. We trust our people and recognise that flexibility means different things to different people.
When you are in the office, we want it to be somewhere you genuinely enjoy working. Our Osborne Park office offers an onsite gym, outdoor balcony and BBQ area, still and sparkling water on tap and a well-stocked pantry. Armada also provides dedicated learning and development opportunities, wellbeing initiatives and an active social club.
Most importantly, we are a close-knit team where people genuinely look out for one another. We want people to feel supported, valued and connected to the wider Armada team.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Corporate Bookkeeper to join Armada's internal finance function. Unlike a traditional public-practice bookkeeping position, this role is focused on the financial operations of the Armada Group.
You would be joining a small Finance Team and will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records across the Group, supporting day-to-day finance operations and ensuring key bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliation and reporting activities are completed accurately and on time.
The role forms part of Armada's Corporate Services function, which supports the broader organisation across finance, people and culture, IT and administration.
This would particularly suit an experienced bookkeeper who enjoys ownership, accuracy, problem solving and improving the way things are done.
Areas of responsibility
As our Senior Corporate Bookkeeper, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities for Armada's multiple internal entities
- Maintaining accurate general ledger records
- Completing bank, balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
- Managing and reviewing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Preparing and processing payments
- Complete all payroll processing and associated reconciliations including payroll tax and superannuation obligations
- Preparing BAS and other statutory reporting requirements
- Processing journals, accruals and prepayments
- Supporting month-end and year-end processes
- Assisting with management reporting
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate financial records, supporting documentation and audit trails
- Working closely with the broader Corporate Services team and Armada Directors
- Supporting the Finance Team Leader and assisting with other finance activities as required.
About you
You are an experienced bookkeeper who enjoys being the person people can rely on to make sure things are accurate, organised and completed properly.
You will ideally bring:
- At least 5 years' experience in a bookkeeping or finance role
- Strong end-to-end bookkeeping experience
- Experience working within a corporate or multi-entity environment would be highly regarded
- Strong reconciliation and general ledger skills
- Demonstrated accounts payable and accounts receivable experience
- Payroll experience, including superannuation and payroll-related obligations
- Experience preparing BAS and assisting with other statutory reporting
- Strong knowledge of Xero and/or MYOB
- Confidence using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft 365 applications
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- The ability to investigate discrepancies and solve problems independently
- The confidence to take ownership of your responsibilities while working collaboratively as part of a broader team
- An interest in technology, automation and continually improving finance processes.
Why join Armada?
We are a proudly Western Australian financial services group that has grown considerably while maintaining the culture and personal connection of a locally owned business.
You'll enjoy:
- A genuine internal corporate bookkeeping position
- Exposure to the financial operations of a diverse skilled services group

- Flexible working arrangements
- Learning and career development opportunities
- Onsite gym
- Outdoor balcony and BBQ area

- The prospect to improve systems and processes as Armada continues to grow.
If you're an experienced Bookkeeper who enjoys getting into the detail, taking ownership and being an important part of an internal finance team, we'd love to hear from you.
