About Minjilang

Minjilang (Croker Island, also known as Mission Bay) is a remote Aboriginal community of around 290 people, about 235 km east-north-east of Darwin. Languages spoken include Iwaidja, Maung and Kunwinjku. Minjilang is a dry community, with fishing, boating, swimming and bushwalking to enjoy.

The Minjilang Health Care Centre provides a 24/7 on-call service, with a visiting GP and a range of visiting services including midwifery, women's health, mental health, hearing health and dental.
