Community Access Officer
Part Time – 12-Month Maternity Leave Position, with the Possibility of Ongoing Work
Elouera Centre, Cootamundra

Due to ongoing growth in our services, Elouera Centre is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Part time Community Access Officer to join our team for a 12-month maternity leave position, with the possibility of ongoing employment beyond this period.

The successful applicant will support and train service users through our community access programs at the Cootamundra Centre, in the community, and in their own homes. We are looking for someone who is creative, caring and passionate about supporting people with disability to achieve their goals, build independence and participate in their community.

The role involves delivering individualised programs that meet the needs and interests of each person, as well as providing a high level of personal care with dignity, respect and compassion. Some early evening and weekend work may be required.





Essential Requirements:

· Current Driver’s Licence

· Working With Children Check (WWCC)*

· NDIS Worker Screening Check*

· Certificate III in Aged Care or Disability (or currently undertaking)

· A caring, person-centred approach

· Willingness to work flexible hours, including early evenings and weekends

Desirable:

· First Aid Certificate

· Experience working with adults and children with disability

Full training will be provided to applicants who demonstrate the right personal qualities.
