The role

This role sits at the centre of our FIFO operations. You'll be the main contact for clients and site supervisors, and you'll own workforce scheduling across our engagements. This role includes some rostered weekend work to keep site operations covered.

You'll know our people well, their trades, tickets, equipment experience and site history. When a client needs someone, you'll put forward the best person for that specific role, not just the next available name. You'll get workers ready for site, support them through their engagement and bring them back to the bench for their next job.

You'll lead a small team of Mobilisation Officers. You'll set their priorities and delegate compliance, sourcing and admin so the work keeps moving. You'll also work closely with Recruitment, Onboarding, Accounts and Management.

What you'll do

- Plan and manage workforce scheduling across rosters, sites and client engagements
- Build and maintain a detailed understanding of the team's skills, trades, tickets and equipment experience
- Match the best fit worker to each role, based on client, site and equipment requirements
- Build relationships with existing and current clients to win and grow labour hire work
- Present candidates to clients, confirm acceptance and follow up
- Raise quotes, track POs and chase extensions before they lapse
- Confirm rates and coordinate contract addendums
- Make sure every worker is site ready before travel, including inductions, medicals, D&A; and training
- Request travel, issue itineraries and allocate shifts in Humanz
- Coordinate leave cover, travel changes and approvals
- Manage demobilisations, including resume updates, compliance reviews and any performance or safety matters
- Prioritise and delegate work to the Mobilisation Officers, and support their development
- Book flights and accommodation for internal site visits
- Keep the Workforce Tracker, Humanz and daily operations reporting accurate

What you'll bring

- Experience in mobilisation, workforce coordination or labour hire in mining and resources
- Experience working with tier-one mining clients (highly desirable)
- Good knowledge of mining mobile equipment and the mechanical trades that maintain it, such as heavy diesel fitters
- The ability to assess a worker's skills and experience against a role and put forward the right person
- A solid understanding of FIFO rosters, site access and compliance on WA mine sites
- Confidence dealing with clients, supervisors, workers and suppliers
- The ability to juggle competing priorities and handle late changes calmly
- Proven ability to lead, delegate to and support a small team
- High attention to detail and accurate records
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with quotes, POs and pay rates, or with ATS, HRIS, rostering and timesheet systems, is highly desirable (we'll train you on ours)
