Advantage Healthcare & Physiotherapy is looking for an experienced private practice physiotherapist to join our established team in Wynnum.

This is a senior clinical role for a physiotherapist who takes genuine pride in their profession, values solid patient relationships and wants the flexibility and autonomy to build a long-term career in private practice.

The position offers a guaranteed $130,000 FTE salary plus super, rather than an advertised maximum dependent on bonuses or billing targets.

You’ll join a team of 11 senior physiotherapists, most with more than 20 years of clinical experience, in an established clinic with robust patient demand and experienced reception and administration support.

Your caseload

The role is predominantly private musculoskeletal physiotherapy and may include spinal and peripheral conditions, sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, tendon presentations, persistent and complex conditions and exercise-based rehabilitation.

Our caseload is predominantly full-fee private patients, with considerably fewer compensable patients. We do not bulk bill or participate in Bupa or Medibank preferred-provider arrangements.

We are looking for a physiotherapist who understands that a strong private practice caseload is built through more than technical skill.

The right clinician will build genuine professional relationships with patients, communicate clearly, earn trust and become someone patients are confident recommending to family and friends.

Continue developing clinically

You can maintain a broad MSK caseload or continue developing an area of advanced practice.

We can support this through professional development, appropriate internal referrals and collaboration with other experienced clinicians, while helping you build a caseload aligned with your clinical strengths.

You don’t need to arrive with an established niche. An excellent general musculoskeletal physiotherapist is equally valuable to us.

About you





We are looking for an experienced private practice physiotherapist with at least 10 years of private practice experience, with 15+ years highly regarded.

Clinical experience matters, but so does how you work with people.

The right person will:

• Take genuine pride in being a physiotherapist and in the standard of care they provide
• Build rapport naturally with a broad range of patients
• Enjoy getting to know patients and understanding what matters to them
• Communicate findings clearly and make complex problems understandable
• Build trust through good judgement, consistency and follow-through
• Have demonstrated an ability to build a strong private practice caseload
• Develop professional relationships that lead naturally to word-of-mouth and family referrals
• Take ownership of a patient’s care from assessment through treatment and rehabilitation
• Be confident managing both straightforward and complex MSK presentations
• Have strong assessment, treatment and exercise rehabilitation skills
• Use sound clinical reasoning rather than formulaic treatment plans
• Be reliable, organised and consistent in their clinical approach
• Work independently while enjoying discussion with other experienced clinicians
• Hold current AHPRA registration

We are particularly interested in physiotherapists who have developed a strong professional reputation through the quality of their clinical work, their communication and the relationships they form with patients.

Technical skill is important. So is being the kind of physiotherapist patients trust, recommend and remember.
