Senior Assistant Accountant (Part-Time, School Hours) | Perth

At Autoline, you'll join a small, hands-on finance team that keeps the business running. You'll own the month-end close, payroll and lodgements, so our numbers are accurate and on time, every month. All of this happens within school-friendly hours, 6 hours a day, Monday to Friday.

The Role

Based at our Canning Vale head office and reporting to the Financial Controller, this part-time role will include:

· Running the month-end close and delivering draft financials on schedule
· Completing balance sheet reconciliations (bank, payroll, GST, PAYG, super, accruals, prepayments, inventory and intercompany)
· Posting accruals, prepayments and month-end journals
· Processing payroll end to end, including super, allowances and employee queries
· Preparing BAS/IAS, payroll tax and FBT for sign-off and lodging on time
· Preparing year-end schedules for our external accountants
· Updating budget and cash flow models with actuals
· Covering Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable when needed
· Keeping data in MYOB EXO clean and helping improve our processes

Who We're Looking For





We're looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant who has run a month-end close before and is ready to take ownership of it. This role suits someone looking for school-friendly hours in a role with real responsibility. You’re organised and accurate, and you take pride in keeping the books clean and meeting deadlines.

Ideally, you have:

· 3–5 years' experience in an accounting role
· a degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CA studies desirable)
· run a month-end close, ideally in a stock-holding or wholesale business
· processed payroll under an award
· prepared BAS, payroll tax and FBT
· Are confident in Excel (XLOOKUP, SUMIF, pivot tables)
· Have experience with MYOB EXO or a similar ERP (desirable)
· Can manage your time well to meet deadlines within a 6-hour day
