About the role

As a Senior Raisebore Driller, you will lead raisebore programs in the field and set the standard for our delivery. With our operations growing across New South Wales and Western Australia, you will take each raise from set-up to breakthrough with a high degree of ownership, working hand-in-glove with our fitter and client leadership, and to deliver to plan. You will be backed by a business that plans the work properly, runs to documented systems and treats its people on principle. The role is offered on a 2/2 FIFO roster from any Australian or New Zealand capital city.

Key responsibilities

- Set up, operate and demobilise raisebore rigs across our fleet to the drill plan, with precision and care

- Lead the complete raise cycle - set-up and alignment, pilot drilling, reaming and breakthrough - to a high standard

- Own pilot-hole accuracy on long and critical holes, including directional control where the hole design calls for it

- Manage drill string, reaming heads, cutters and consumables to protect performance and hole quality

- Conduct pre-starts, in-shift checks and routine maintenance in partnership with the site fitter

- Monitor machine performance and ground conditions, adjusting technique to protect accuracy and safety

- Maintain accurate shift records, production data and reporting that inform program decisions

About you





- Extensive hands-on experience as a raisebore driller, with a proven record of raises delivered to plan (essential)

- Technical knowledge of drill string components, reaming-head assembly, and cutter and bit management

- A sound understanding of deviation control and pilot-hole accuracy over long holes

- Mechanical aptitude and a methodical, plan-driven approach to the work

- A preference for working within transparent systems and procedures, and the discipline to apply them every time
