About the role

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the front of house. You’ll lead by example on the floor, ensuring every guest enjoys a warm welcome, outstanding coffee and a smooth, skilled experience.

Key responsibilities include:





- Leading daily FOH operations – opening, service and close

- Training and coaching FOH staff in SOPs, coffee standards, beverage preparation and customer service

- Overseeing the presentation and replenishment of the pastry and sandwich cabinet

- Working closely with the kitchen to deliver our a'la carte menu and weekday buffet at a high standard

- Ensuring the dining room, service areas and bar are clean, organised and guest-ready at all times

- Confidently using Square POS for orders, payments and basic reporting

- Upholding food safety, RSA and workplace health & safety standards

About you

You’re an experienced, hands-on Café / FOH professional who enjoys being on the floor, setting the tone and getting the best from your team.

You will have:

- Strong coffee knowledge and solid barista skills, with the ability to train others

- A calm, organised and no‑nonsense approach to service and problem solving

- Confidence working with POS systems (experience with Square an advantage)

- High standards of cleanliness, presentation and attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills and a genuine focus on guest experience
