Pay Rate: Security Services Award Level 2
Roster: Sunday to Tuesday 06:00 am to 18:00 pm
About the Role
As a Security Officer, you will be the first point of contact for safety and security on site. You will provide a professional security presence while supporting clients, staff and visitors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting regular patrols to ensure the safety of people, property and assets
- Providing a professional and approachable security presence
- Responding to incidents, alarms, emergencies and requests for assistance
- Identifying potential risks and taking appropriate action
- Following site procedures, security protocols and safety requirements
- Completing incident reports and maintaining accurate records
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A valid Security Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Proven security experience (1+ year), ideally within a shopping centre or retail workplace
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekdays and weekends
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures
- A reliable and punctual work history
- Full Australian working rights
