Sanning Pty Ltd is an established construction contractor specialising in formwork, reinforcement, concrete construction and associated structural and civil works across Western Australia.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of commercial construction projects throughout Perth and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction activities, coordinating project teams and subcontractors, monitoring budgets and programs, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with contractual requirements.

The position involves both office-based project management and regular attendance at construction sites, depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate and manage commercial construction projects from commencement through to completion.
- Develop, implement and monitor construction programs, project schedules and key milestones.
- Manage project budgets, cost forecasts, progress claims, variations and overall financial performance.
- Coordinate site managers, supervisors, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Review architectural, structural and engineering drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
- Manage procurement, material deliveries, labour allocation, plant and equipment requirements.
- Monitor construction productivity, project progress, quality assurance and compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Identify and manage project risks, construction delays, design issues and unforeseen site conditions.
- Liaise with builders, clients, consultants, engineers and other project stakeholders.
- Attend project meetings and prepare progress reports, financial forecasts and project documentation.
- Oversee contract administration,



subcontractor performance and commercial obligations.
- Coordinate multiple construction activities and ensure works are completed in accordance with approved programs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards, building regulations and contractual requirements.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience managing commercial building or major construction projects.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methodologies, particularly structural concrete, formwork and reinforcement works.
- Experience managing construction programs, budgets, procurement, subcontractors and project delivery teams.
- Sound knowledge of construction contracts, progress claims, variations and commercial project administration.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong organisational, leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety, quality assurance and construction compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in project management, scheduling and construction documentation software.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate multiple project activities.
