Grow and Learn Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead our service in Spearwood.

This role suits a confident leader who is committed to quality early childhood education, strong relationships with families, and a protected, welcoming environment for children and educators.

About the role

As Centre Director, you will oversee the centre’s daily operations, support and guide the team, and drive continuous improvement in the quality of education and care.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading, mentoring and supporting educators to deliver quality learning experiences.

- Managing daily operations, staffing, rosters and administrative requirements.

- Maintaining compliance with applicable education and care regulations, standards and centre policies.

- Building positive relationships with children, families and the wider community.

- Supporting enrolments, family enquiries and orientation processes.

- Overseeing health, safety, child protection and safeguarding practices.

- Managing centre resources and budgets.

- Promoting a positive, inclusive and professional workplace.

Qualifications and experience

To be considered, you will need:

- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education/Education relevant to early childhood.

- At least two years’ experience as a Childcare Centre Director.

- Strong knowledge of early childhood education,



service compliance and quality improvement.

- Demonstrated leadership, team management and organisational skills.

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

- A current Working with Children Check.

- Relevant current first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management training.

- Relevant child protection training and the ability to meet applicable compliance requirements.

- Experience using HubHello childcare management software is highly desirable.

- A salary of $90,000–$110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
