At Good Day People, we’re all about making gifting good. We’re a fun, quirky (in a good way) gifting company championing local Australian makers and sending thousands of hampers to people and businesses nationwide. Our mission is to level up the quality, care and joy in gifting, and every box that leaves our warehouse should make someone’s day.
The role
We’re looking for a rapid, careful and reliable Pick Packer to join our small team, Monday to Friday. You’ll be the last set of hands on every gift before it reaches a customer, so you need to take pride in getting it right: the right products, packed beautifully, out the door on time.
What you’ll be doing
- Picking and packing hampers accurately from order sheets
- Packing and presenting gifts to our premium standard so they arrive in perfect condition
- Receiving deliveries, unpacking stock and keeping shelves organised
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and running smoothly
- Flat packing cardboard, making up shipping cartons (like a lot!) and keep the warehouse neat and tidy.
What we’re looking for
- Previous pick packing, warehouse or e-commerce fulfilment experience (a big plus)
- A sharp eye for detail: you notice when a ribbon’s wonky or an item’s missing
- A quick,
efficient pace without cutting corners
- Reliability and punctuality, since we’re counting on you every weekday
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed
- Ability to lift and move cartons over 15 kg. Get your hands dirty. Be on your feet all day.
- Availability Monday to Friday. Hours will vary with the option of Saturday work.
Hours
- Monday to Friday with shifts being rostered anytime between 6:00am–6:00pm.
