We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer (Lead Level) with strong hands-on expertise in Apache JMeter, performance testing, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have experience in batch testing, data warehouse testing, test data creation, workload modelling, and performance test reporting.

Experience with service virtualisation tools and the payments domain will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead performance testing activities, ensuring application performance, scalability, stability, and reliability.
- Develop and execute performance test scripts using JMeter as the primary testing tool.
- Prepare comprehensive performance test plans, test scenarios, and workload models based on business and technical requirements.
- Create and manage test data to support performance, batch, and data warehouse testing.
- Integrate performance testing into Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
- Execute performance tests, analyse results, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
- Prepare detailed Test Summary Reports (TSRs) outlining test results, performance metrics, findings, and recommendations.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to testing teams,



ensuring adherence to performance testing standards and best practices.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

- 9+ years of experience in performance testing, preferably in a lead or senior capacity.
- Solid hands-on experience with Apache JMeter for performance test scripting and execution.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps pipelines and implementing performance testing within CI/CD environments.
- Prior experience in batch testing and data warehouse testing.
- Proven experience in test data creation and management.
- Strong skills in preparing performance test plans, test scenarios, and workload models.
- Experience developing, executing, monitoring, and analysing performance test scripts.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive Test Summary Reports (TSRs).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Skills

- Knowledge of service virtualisation tools, preferably Tricentis Tosca OSV or similar solutions.
- Previous experience in the payments domain.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in complex enterprise environments.

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
