Little Notes Music is the early childhood program of Morgan Music Academy. We visit preschools and early learning centres across the North Shore, the Hills district and the CBD, and run fun, play-based music sessions for children aged six months to five years. We’re growing our outreach and are looking for a warm, confident educator to deliver the program on site.

You don’t need to design anything. You’ll be using our established Little Notes program, with a set lesson plan and a consistent song list. All equipment is provided and packs into a single suitcase, so with your guitar or ukulele it’s easy to carry in and set up. Sessions run 30 to 60 minutes per group, usually weekday mornings, and you’ll travel between centres in your own car.

This role suits someone looking to build a regular, long-term part of their week with us rather than a short-term job. Centres book for the term and the year, and they value seeing the same face each visit.

What you’ll bring

- Confidence singing in front of small children and their educators
- Basic guitar or ukulele, enough to accompany one or two simple songs that stay the same each week. You’ll need your own instrument, and if you’re not there yet, we can teach you
- A bright, outgoing personality and a genuine love of working with little ones
- Confidence relating to centre directors and educators
- Reliability. Centres plan their week around our visit




- Regular availability during school terms
- A current NSW Working With Children Check (paid employment), or willingness to apply for one
- Your own ABN, reliable car and licence
- Public liability insurance, or willingness to obtain it

Nice to have

- Early childhood or music education experience or study
- Availability for Saturday Little Notes studio classes at Hornsby

What we offer

- $60 per hour plus a travel allowance per visit, with a one-hour minimum
- Full training on the program before you start, including shadowing a session before your first solo visit

- Regular weekly work during term, with hours growing as more centres come on board
