4 Corners is an Italian-inspired restaurant offering quality food, cocktails, wine, beer, coffee and other beverages in a welcoming dining environment. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Bartender & Barista / Beverage Attendant to join our team and help deliver an excellent experience to every guest.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suited to someone confident preparing cocktails, serving alcoholic beverages, making quality coffee and managing beverage service during busy lunch and dinner periods.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the bar and beverage station, maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, service and responsible alcohol service.

Key Responsibilities

Bar & Cocktail Service

- Prepare and serve cocktails, spritzes, mocktails and other beverages according to restaurant recipes and presentation standards.
- Serve wine, beer, spirits and other alcoholic beverages responsibly.
- Maintain knowledge of the drinks menu, cocktail ingredients and beverage recommendations.
- Monitor bar stock, replenish supplies and notify management when items are running low.
- Keep the bar organised, clean and ready for service.

Coffee & Beverage Preparation

- Prepare espresso coffee, including espresso, long black, latte, cappuccino, flat white and iced coffee.
- Operate and maintain the coffee machine, grinder, blender and other beverage equipment.
- Prepare teas, hot chocolate, iced drinks, smoothies and other non-alcoholic beverages on the menu.
- Ensure consistent beverage quality, portion sizes, temperature and presentation.

Customer Service & Teamwork

- Provide friendly, professional and efficient service to guests.
- Take beverage orders accurately and communicate with floor staff and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with beverage recommendations and respond to customer enquiries.
- Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner services.




- Follow responsible service of alcohol requirements and verify identification when necessary.

Cleaning, Stock & Compliance

- Complete opening, closing and cleaning duties for the bar and beverage station.
- Wash and maintain glassware, coffee equipment and utensils.
- Follow food safety, workplace health and safety and hygiene procedures.
- Assist with stock rotation, date checks, stock counts and restocking.
- Minimise waste and maintain a tidy, professional working environment.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

- Previous experience in bartending, barista work or beverage service.
- Confidence preparing cocktails, serving alcohol and making espresso coffee.
- A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate, or willingness to obtain one before undertaking alcohol service.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A positive attitude, reliability and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
- Availability for weekend shifts and busy restaurant service periods.
- The ability to multitask and remain organised under pressure.

Experience in an Italian restaurant, cocktail bar or full-service restaurant will be highly regarded.

- Part time employment with approximately 30–38 hours per week, subject to the agreed employment arrangement.
