An established automotive workshop offering Tyres, Wheels & Automotive services is looking for a qualified and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team.
Our workshop is backed by extensive automotive industry knowledge and hands-on experience, with an experienced Store Manager who understands the industry and is there to provide advice, guidance and support to our team members.
We’re focused on creating a professional and positive workshop environment built around quality workmanship, honest advice, great customer service and a team that enjoys working together.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced mechanic who takes genuine pride in their workmanship and wants to become an important part of the team.
The position will involve a broad range of automotive servicing, diagnostics and repair work, including:
- Logbook servicing and general mechanical repairs
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Brake, steering and suspension repairs
- Vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- eSafety inspections – current certification would be highly regarded
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
We’d also look very favourably on applicants who bring additional skills or experience in areas such as:
- Suspension installation and upgrades
- Wheel alignments
- 4WD and automotive accessory fitting
- Vehicle fit-outs
- Auto electrical work and advanced diagnostics
- Tyres and wheels
ABOUT YOU
You’ll be a qualified Automotive Mechanic who combines strong technical ability with the right attitude.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Takes pride in doing the job properly
- Has strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Is reliable, organised and professional
- Communicates well with both customers and team members
- Can work independently while also enjoying being part of a team
- Holds a current driver’s licence
- Most importantly, brings a positive, can-do attitude to the workshop
