Civil & Quarries Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated, experienced and driven Project Engineer to join our expanding team. As a locally owned and operated company, we deliver civil infrastructure, major earthworks, structural concrete and commercial construction projects throughout regional NSW.

THE ROLE

This is a predominantly site-based position, working directly alongside company directors, project managers and site supervisors to coordinate and deliver construction projects across regional NSW. The successful candidate will spend most of their working time onsite, supporting construction crews and overseeing safe, effective and compliant project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage and coordinate civil and commercial construction projects.
- Provide hands-on engineering support to onsite construction teams.
- Oversee daily site operations, construction progress and quality control.
- Manage project programming, scheduling, budgeting and cost control.
- Prepare ITPs, quality assurance documentation, SWMS and project reports.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, materials, plant and equipment.
- Manage procurement,



progress claims, variations and contractual documentation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers and government authorities.

ABOUT YOU

- Qualifications in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Experience in civil construction, earthworks, concrete or infrastructure projects.
- Solid technical knowledge of construction processes and Australian Standards.
- Experience in project planning, cost management and contract administration.
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Practical, hands-on approach and willingness to work predominantly onsite.
- Current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout regional NSW.

WHAT’S ON OFFER?

Competitive $50.00–$75.00 hourly rate (depending on experience and qualifications); full-time 38-hour week; flexible roster negotiable to suit operational requirements; predominantly onsite work; diverse regional projects; supportive team; long-term growth opportunities.
