Teach-A-Tot Preschool is a small service educating and caring for up to 39 children, aged 6 weeks to 6 years, each day. We are seeking Certificate 3 (or working towards) educators to add to our casual pool.

Our Service is committed to providing a child safe environment where children’s safety and wellbeing is supported and children feel respected, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our Service embeds the NSW Child Safe Standards and promotes a culture of safety and wellbeing to minimise the risk of child abuse, neglect or harm, while promoting children’s sense of security and belonging.

The successful candidates will:

- hold a valid WWCC

- hold a certificate 3 in early childhood education and care, or a transcript as evidence that the course is being actively worked towards.

- have an excellent work ethic, understanding the importance of being on time,



attending shifts and giving as much notice as possible if unwell

- prioritise the safety and wellbeing of children above all else

- have excellent written and verbal English skills

- be polite and friendly, having the confidence to develop qualified relationships with children, families and educators

- have excellent time management skills and be able to multi-task

- have full working rights in Australia

- provide at least two references, with at least one being a work reference

- have completed or be willing to obtain prior to employment, the Geccko Child Safety Training courses 1 through to 4, Food Handler Basics traing, and Child Protection Training.

Pay: $36.01 – $40.58 per hour
