We are a family-operated motel located in the beautiful Scenic Rim region of Queensland.

We are seeking a reliable, motivated and hands-on Motel Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the motel. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term hospitality management position in a friendly regional community.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily motel operations, including reservations, check-ins and check-outs
- Respond to telephone, email and online booking enquiries
- Manage bookings across direct and online accommodation platforms
- Deliver professional and friendly guest service
- Handle guest enquiries, requests and complaints
- Coordinate housekeeping and supervise casual staff
- Inspect rooms and ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Monitor room availability, occupancy and rates
- Process payments, invoices and maintain accurate records
- Manage motel supplies, linen and stock levels
- Identify maintenance requirements and coordinate contractors where necessary
- Assist with basic day-to-day property maintenance
- Monitor guest reviews and help maintain high guest satisfaction
- Support local, corporate, group and event bookings
- Provide regular operational updates to the owners
- Ensure motel policies and relevant health and safety requirements are followed

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Reliable, honest and well organised
- Friendly and professional when dealing with guests
- Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for motel operations
- Confident using computers, email and online booking systems
- Able to coordinate staff and prioritise daily duties




- Practical and willing to be hands-on when required
- Customer-service focused with positive communication skills
- Interested in a stable, long-term position

Previous motel, hotel, accommodation or hospitality management experience is highly regarded.

Experience with property management systems, online travel agencies such as Booking.com and Expedia, channel managers, reservations and basic administration would be an advantage.
