Quality Health Care (QHC) is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to support
four male residents in a Supported Independent Living home in Hillsdale.

Your Role:
- Supporting residents with daily living tasks and developing independent living skills
- Medication administration and accurate documentation
- Implementing positive behaviour support strategies and restrictive practices
- Encouraging healthy lifestyle choices, including supporting residents with nutrition and wellbeing goals
- Supporting community access, appointments and social participation
- Managing complex behaviours using a trauma-informed approach
- Maintaining professional boundaries and providing consistent support
- Completing progress notes, incident reports and other documentation as required
What We're Looking For:
- Certificate IV in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting people with mental health conditions, trauma backgrounds and behaviours of concern
- Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and restrictive practices
- Solid communication, documentation and interpersonal skills
- Resilience and confidence managing complex behaviours in a professional manner
