Jamie Fitness is adding a casual personal trainer in Ranford. The work is one-to-one coaching, and your regular clients build up over time; you do not start with a ready-made client book. Full-time hours are not guaranteed.
What you will need
Cert IV in Fitness, or be close to completing it. Current First Aid, CPR and a Working with Children Check will be needed when you start.
Pay rates
Casual employment, plus super and applicable commission. The current hourly rate rises with ongoing weekly client hours:
- $40.17 an hour (up to 25 client hours a week)
- $45 an hour (25 to 30 client hours a week)
- $55 an hour (30 or more client hours a week)
- What the role involves
Run one-to-one training sessions with clients. Follow the team's coaching and administrative systems. Attend mentoring and team workshops. Help prospective clients understand the training offer.
Hours you need to be free
- Four afternoons or evenings each week, about 3pm to 8.30pm
- Two mornings each week
- This is required availability, not guaranteed paid hours.
You will not pay gym rent. Jamie Fitness supports you with marketing and administration.
