Holiday Massage, located in Broome, Western Australia, is seeking an experienced

and dedicated Massage Therapist to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide professional therapeutic massage and body

treatments to promote relaxation, relieve muscle tension, support injury recovery,

and improve clients' overall health and well-being.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- In-depth client consultations to discuss the details surrounding the problemed

areas.

- Provide clients with a treatment plan outlining lifestyle changes they can

implement exercise to improve blood circulation and relax muscle tension.

- Using a variety of techniques to massage the body's soft tissues, including

muscles and tendons.

- The goal is to promote healing, enhance sports performance, and prevent

injuries for clients.

- Incorporating additional techniques like acupressure or complementary aids

such as essential oils, cupping, herbal or dry needling to assist clients in their

recovery.

- Assessing clients' physical condition and medical history to ensure

appropriate care.

- Providing suitable recommendations for stretching exercises and relaxation

techniques that clients can practice at home.

Qualifications and Experience

- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Massage Therapy

or a relevant field, or at least 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of formal

qualifications.

- Minimum 3 years of relevant full-time work experience as a Massage

Therapist.

- Sound knowledge of massage techniques, human anatomy, and therapeutic

treatment practices.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to provide appropriate on-the-job training and guidance to other team

members.

- Strong commitment to professional standards, workplace safety, and client

satisfaction.
