The Prospect

We are seeking Consultants and Senior Consultants with energy-sector experience to join our team in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne or Perth.

As a Consultant or Senior Consultant in Rennie’s Strategy & Operations team, you will help clients make evidence-based decisions about which products and services to take to market, how to build competitive advantage, and where to make investment

You will work alongside senior Rennie colleagues to solve complex client problems, undertake analysis and develop clear, practical recommendations. Your role will contribute throughout each engagement, with regular opportunities to engage directly with clients and take on responsibility for high-quality analysis, communications and deliverables.

The role will also support the design and implementation of operating models that turn strategy into execution.

What you’ll bring

- Consulting experience: One to two years of consulting experience,



work in the energy sector will be highly favorable
- Relevant expertise: Experience in strategy, operations or both. This could include growth strategy, portfolio reviews, market entry, scenario planning and commercial due diligence, or operating model design, transformation, implementation support and project management office (PMO) delivery.
- A proactive approach: Self-motivation, initiative and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- A collaborative mindset: The ability to work effectively in a team and bring resilience to challenging problems.

Depending on your specialisation and the engagement, you could work across corporate and growth strategy, market and competitor analysis, commercial due diligence, business transformation, operating model design and strategic planning.

You'll contribute to complex projects across energy, infrastructure and emerging sectors, helping clients identify growth opportunities, navigate market challenges, improve business performance and turn strategic decisions into practical, measurable outcomes.
