Join White’s IGA Mt Coolum as Produce Manager and take on a key leadership role in managing the vibrant and thriving Produce Department. As Produce Manager, you will lead a team to achieve budgeted sales goals while delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

What You'll Do:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Produce Department, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Set and attain targets for departmental sales, gross profit, wages, and cost control to drive business success.
- Develop and implement innovative marketing and merchandising strategies that showcase our high-quality produce.
- Maintain compliance with HACCP, food safety, workplace health & safety, and trade practices regulations for a safe and inviting department.
- Coach, train, and lead staff to deliver outstanding customer service that exceeds expectations.
- Monitor and manage departmental finances, focusing on shrink control and cost management.
- Create an organized and visually appealing Produce Department to enhance the shopping experience.

What We Are Looking For:

- Confidence leading people, setting standards and a commitment to great customer service




- Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing a fresh food department in a supermarket setting (produce experience is preferred).
- Proficiency in HACCP, food safety, workplace health & safety, weights & measures, and trade practices.
- Robust financial acumen with a proven track record in sales, profit margin management, wage controls, and cost management.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $72,000.00 per year
