Part-Time Kitchen Hand

We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Kitchen Hand to join our busy café team in Sylvania.

If you have experience working in a fast-paced café or kitchen environment, enjoy working as part of a team, and have a genuine interest in food, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll work closely with our kitchen team to help keep service running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the preparation and making of meals
- Food preparation, including chopping, portioning and general kitchen prep
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently
- Washing dishes and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Assisting the chefs and café team during busy service periods
- Helping with the development and preparation of upcoming specials and new menu items
- Bringing an awareness of current food and café trends and fresh ideas to the team

About You

We’re looking for someone who:





- Has previous experience in a busy café or commercial kitchen
- Works well under pressure and can keep up during busy service
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Is organised and maintains high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Has an interest in food and enjoys keeping up with current café and food trends
- Is keen to contribute ideas and help us create exciting new specials

Part time hours available, with the opportunity for additional shifts for the right person.
