We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker for a FIFO shutdown project at Kens Bore, Western Australia. The work is associated with the replacement of buckets and the centre chute in a mining or heavy industrial setting.

The successful candidate will have relevant boilermaking experience and be comfortable carrying out fabrication, fitting and repair activities as required by the shutdown scope.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform boilermaking, fabrication, repair and maintenance tasks within the approved work scope.
- Assist with the removal and replacement of buckets and centre chute components.
- Carry out cutting, grinding, fitting and welding tasks where required and authorised.
- Interpret fabrication drawings, measurements and work instructions.
- Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with specifications.




- Coordinate with mechanical fitters, riggers and other trades.
- Follow hot-work permits, isolation procedures and site safety requirements.
- Maintain tools, equipment and a clean work area.

Requirements

- Relevant boilermaking trade qualification or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Experience in mining, oil and gas, or heavy industry.
- Shutdown and maintenance experience preferred.
- Relevant welding qualifications and site tickets as required for assigned tasks.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts.
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
