Supernova Medical Centre is seeking a motivated, compassionate and suitably qualified Psychologist to join our growing multidisciplinary medical team on a contractor basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a psychologist looking to build their private practice within an established medical centre, with opportunities to receive referrals from our General Practitioners and other healthcare professionals.
About the Role
- Work as an independent contractor on a flexible schedule.
- Provide psychological assessments, counselling and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Manage a diverse range of patients, including adults, adolescents and families.
- Support patients with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties and other mental health concerns.
- Work collaboratively with GPs and other allied health professionals.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with professional standards.

Essential Requirements
- Recognised qualification in Psychology.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist.
- Professional indemnity insurance.
- Appropriate Medicare provider number (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as a contractor.
