About the role:
Develop and implement strategies that improve hospital avoidance, strengthen community-based care, expand virtual and integrated care models, and support timely discharges.
Oversee the operational and financial performance of the Patient Flow directorate, ensuring effective service delivery and resource management.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, HHS executives, Queensland Ambulance Service and other Queensland Health facilities to coordinate seamless patient care.
Provide expert strategic advice using data analysis, predictive modelling and best practice to drive innovation, improve performance and ensure patients receive timely care in the right place.

About you:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrated accountability, professional integrity and commitment to high standards of nursing care and service delivery.
Strong leadership, collaboration and relationship-building skills, including mentoring staff,



resolving conflict and supporting multidisciplinary decision-making.
Excellent communication, negotiation, prioritisation and time management skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with colleagues, senior leaders and service users.

What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $211,068 p.a. is comprised of:

An hourly of $93.29 p.h.
An annual salary of $184,991 p.a.
12.75% employer superannuation contribution
17.5% leave loading
