The role of medical receptionist is a very critical role. The successful candidate will support the vision and mission of Kennedy Bay Medical Centre in coordinating the clinic and staff to a standard of excellence.

- Pay rate will be discussed based on experience and in accordance to the Health Professionals and Support Services Award.
- Opportunity to move to Full time/Part time employment for the successful candidate.

Key requirements:

- Previous experience with Best Practice or Medical Director is MUST
- Manage appointment schedules
- Working knowledge of Medicare item numbers for general practice
- Assisting clients with booking appointments with specialists and other providers.
- Work effectively within a team and also able to work independently.
- Possess a strong work ethic




- Display a professional manner via phone and with patients in the clinic setting
- Able to multitask and display fantastic organisational skills.

Responsibilities:

- Scheduling appointments and processing payments.
- Banking
- Organising incoming correspondence and directing to the appropriate health professional.
- Liaising with patients and their families and assisting with arrangements for their care.
- Assisting our GP's and allied health providers with required administration tasks.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $29.00 – $35.00 per hour
