Johnny, Vince & Sam's is looking for a reliable and hardworking Casual Kitchen Hand to join our growing kitchen team!

We are a busy Italian restaurant operating across two levels, and we're looking for enthusiastic team members to support our chefs and help keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Required:

- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability across weekends and/or weekday lunch and dinner shifts.
- Willingness to assist with cleaning, deliveries, and basic food preparation.
- Ability to work in a busy kitchen setting and follow instructions.

Salary: Casual, Restaurant Industry Award Level 1 - $33.05 per hour, plus superannuation and applicable penalties.

Availability: 7 days, approximately 20-30 hours per week.

Location: Johnny, Vince & Sam's, Carlton VIC.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Hand, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our kitchen. You'll help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service while assisting our chefs with essential kitchen duties.





Your responsibilities will include unloading deliveries, organising storage areas, cleaning kitchen equipment and workspaces, assisting with basic food preparation and supporting the chefs during busy service periods.

This casual role offers approximately 20-30 hours per week, with shifts available across a seven-day operation. Weekend availability and flexibility across lunch and dinner services are important.

Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an advantage, but not essential. Attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn matter most.
