Individualised Community Access Services (ICAS) are seeking multiple experienced employees for our clients in IPSWICH. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others and about supporting our clients in their home.

We are seeking those with wide availability including day, evening, weekend shifts.

We have a range of clients who require assistance with all aspects of their lives. This role requires the ability to work to a roster and requires experience with providing high quality care.

The position description is prepared by the clients and we are seeking multiple candidates with the following skillset:

- Provide personal care (continence, feeding and bathing) to the clients
- Preferably a mature female (client requested)
- Assist clients for all aspects of daily living.
- Experience in high intensity supports, including complex bowel care, dysphagia, epilepsy, medication, complex wound care is preferrable, however training can be provided.
- Experience with hoist, wheelchairs, and manual handling is preferred.
- Physically able to maneuver wheelchair and use a hoist.
- A caring, nurturing persona with plenty of patience.

Requirements -

- A passion and willingness to assist.
- CPR and First Aid.
- NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain).
- Certificate III in Individual Support (minimum requirement).
- Manual Handling training
- Medication competency
- High Intensity support training preferred.
- Commitment to ongoing training and professional development.

ICAS has been providing disability support services within the Greater Brisbane region for over 30 years, with long term staff and long term clients. Pay: $38.00 – $50.00 per hour
