SUPERMARKET & RETAIL STAFF WANTED

Talent Success is recruiting Supermarket Assistants, Grocery Team Members, Checkout Operators, Deli Assistants, Produce Assistants, Night Fillers and Shelf Stockers for established supermarkets in Bordertown and Robe, South Australia.

- Supermarket Assistant / All-Rounder
- Grocery Assistant
- Retail Assistant
- Checkout Operator / Cashier
- Deli Assistant
- Fruit & Vegetable / Produce Assistant
- Night Fill / Night Fill Team Member
- Shelf Stocker
- Stock Replenishment Assistant
- Store Assistant

Your department, duties and roster will depend on the available vacancy and the employer's operational requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL DOGrocery & Stock Replenishment

- Replenish shelves and maintain stock availability
- Receive, unload and organise deliveries
- Rotate products using FIFO procedures
- Check product quality, presentation and expiry dates
- Keep shelves and stock areas clean and organised

Checkout & Customer Service

- Operate checkout registers and process customer purchases




- Assist customers with enquiries
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Support general store operations when required

Deli & Fresh Produce

- Prepare and display deli products where required
- Maintain fruit and vegetable displays
- Check freshness, quality and product presentation
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures

General Supermarket Duties

- Maintain clean and secure work areas
- Follow WHS procedures and workplace policies
- Perform manual handling and stock-handling tasks
- Work collaboratively with other team members
- Assist with other store duties as required

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for candidates who are:

- Reliable and punctual
- Committed to regular attendance
- Physically capable of standing, lifting and performing manual handling
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, approachable and customer-focused
- Willing to learn and follow instructions
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Available for the required hours and roster
- Able to commit to ongoing work

EXPERIENCE THAT WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE

Experience in any of the following is welcome:

- Supermarket and grocery retail
- Retail sales and customer service
- Checkout and cashier operations
- Deli, fresh food and produce
- Night fill and shelf replenishment
- Warehousing and distribution
- Picking, packing and stock handling
- Hospitality and food service
- Manufacturing and production
- General labouring and manual handling

We are particularly interested in candidates who already live in these areas or nearby towns.

Candidates from outside the area may also be considered, but relocation is required if you are not within reliable travelling distance of the worksite.
