Chocolate Gems is an Australian family-owned business producing high-quality chocolate products for a diverse range of customers. We are seeking a reliable production operator with food manufacturing experience to join our quick-paced manufacturing facility in Loganholme.

In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of chocolate manufacturing and packing equipment.

Key responsibilities

· Lead by example in workplace safety and assist with developing, maintaining and managing policies and programs that support a safe working environment.

· Support a customer-focused culture to help ensure seamless fulfilment of customer orders.

· Support quality and compliance initiatives in accordance with Chocolate Gems’ Food Safety and Compliance Systems.

· Maintain clean, neat and tidy production areas at all times.

· Communicate clearly and effectively with team members.

· Prepare, start up and operate production, wrapping and packing machinery.

· Maintain and troubleshoot machinery and equipment.





· Complete production documentation and carry out in-process quality checks.

About you

· Australian residency or eligibility to work in Australia.

· Previous experience in chocolate or confectionery production, or on production lines, is preferred.

· Good mechanical aptitude is preferred.

· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· A strong work ethic.

· Previous food industry experience and knowledge.

· The ability to work within a small team and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

· A sound understanding of food hygiene.

· The ability to work independently and take initiative.

· A commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.

· The ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting 10–25 kg.
