About the role
This is a part time position with clients in the Port Macquarie area.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Supporting clients with safe movement and mobility
- Following individual client care plans
- Shopping and errands
- Household cleaning
- Changing bed linen
- Laundry and dishes
- Providing companionship and respectful support
What we're looking for
We're looking for people who are:
- Passionate about helping the elderly maintain their dignity and independence.
- Reliable and dependable
- Able to communicate effectively in English and engage respectfully and tactfully with clients
- Committed to providing a great service for their clients.
You'll also need:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent).
- Current First Aid certification
- Appropriate manual-handling certification
- Australian driver's licence
- Reliable vehicle
- Current Police Check
- Current NDIS Check
- COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations
- Australian working rights
- Flexibility to travel at least 30 Kilometres if required.
