Senior FP&A; Analyst - Research & Development - Pricing Focus

DMC Recruitment is partnering with an established clinical research organisation to appoint a Senior FP&A; Analyst - Pricing on an initial contract through to February 2027.

Supporting a strategic review of a business unit, this role will focus on pricing, profitability and financial performance analysis. Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, you will help assess commercial performance, build financial models and support future budgeting and reporting frameworks.

This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically minded finance professional who enjoys project-based work and wants exposure to commercial finance, business performance and strategic analysis.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse pricing structures and assess revenue against underlying operating costs
- Review profitability and margin performance across different services and funding streams
- Work with large datasets to identify trends, risks and commercial opportunities
- Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making
- Support budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling activities




- Assist in the development of driver-based budgeting tools
- Prepare financial analysis, reporting and presentations for stakeholders
- Support reporting improvements and finance process enhancement initiatives

Key Requirements

- Experience in FP&A;, Commercial Finance, Finance Business Partnering or Management Accounting
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Experience with pricing, profitability and margin analysis
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting
- Advanced Excel capability
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting tools advantageous
