Mercure Barossa Valley is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused Food & Beverage Attendants to join our growing team.
Located in the heart of the beautiful Barossa Valley, our hotel offers accommodation, restaurant dining, bar service, functions and gaming facilities.
We are looking for team members who enjoy working in a friendly, fast-paced hospitality environment and take pride in delivering excellent customer service.
Gaming experience is highly regarded but not essential. We are happy to provide training for the right candidates who are interested in developing their skills and working across both our Food & Beverage and Gaming operations.
About the Role
As part of our Food & Beverage team, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing friendly, professional and attentive customer service.
- Taking food and beverage orders and delivering meals and drinks.
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Assisting with restaurant, bar and function service.
- Operating POS systems and handling cash transactions.
- Maintaining clean, organised and welcoming service areas.
- Assisting in our gaming room once appropriately trained and qualified.
- Working collaboratively with the team to deliver a great guest experience.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in hospitality or Food & Beverage service is preferred.
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for customer service.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability, flexibility and willingness to learn.
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- A current South Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification, or willingness to obtain one before undertaking alcohol service.
- Previous gaming experience and Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) training are an advantage, but not essential – training can be arranged for suitable candidates.

Pay: $26.56 – $50.12 per hour
