ABOUT THE ROLE

As a General Practitioner (GP), you will provide comprehensive, patient-centred medical care to individuals, families and communities.

This role involves delivering a broad range of healthcare services, from preventative care and health promotion to the diagnosis, treatment and management of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting thorough patient consultations, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations.
- Diagnosing and managing a wide spectrum of acute and chronic health conditions.
- Prescribing and administering appropriate medications and treatments.




- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and clinical documentation.
- Supporting patient education and promoting healthy lifestyle choices.

You will play an important role in supporting the ongoing health and wellbeing of your patients, often serving as their first point of contact within the healthcare system.

REGISTRATION AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have:

- Current AHPRA registration appropriate to the scope of the role.
- Relevant qualifications and clinical experience in general practice.
- The ability to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred medical care.
- A commitment to career development and ongoing clinical learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
