Little Oak Tree Paediatric Physio is looking for a motivated and compassionate Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team on a subcontractor basis for up to two days per week. This is a excellent opportunity for a physiotherapist who enjoys working with children and families, values play-based therapy, and wants to make a meaningful difference in children's everyday lives.

About the role

You'll work with babies, toddlers, children and adolescents across our clinic and community settings throughout Melbourne's south-east. The work is delivered in our fun and engaging gym or in community at schools, kinder's and childcares.

Your work will include:

- Delivering engaging, individualised and play-based physiotherapy interventions.
- Supporting children with developmental delays, motor coordination difficulties, neurological and neurodevelopmental conditions, ASD, chromosomal deletions and abnormalities,
- Supporting babies with head shape concerns
- Developing functional goals and practical home programmes in collaboration with families and collaborating with families
- Providing community visits where appropriate, helping children build skills in their everyday environments.




- Completing clinical documentation, progress reports and communication with families and other healthcare professionals.
- writing NDIS report and letters where applicable

What we're looking for

- A qualified physiotherapist with current AHPRA registration.
- A genuine passion for working with babies, children and their families.
- A warm, patient and engaging approach to therapy.
- Strong communication, organisation and clinical documentation skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a supportive team.
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport for community visits.
- Appropriate professional indemnity insurance and relevant checks for working with children.

Paediatric experience is highly regarded. We also welcome applications from physiotherapists who are enthusiastic about developing their paediatric skills and are willing to learn.

As a sub -contractor this would provide flexibility in working hours.

Pay: $70.00 – $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.0 – 14.0 per week
