We are after a FEMALE SUPPORT WORKER with experience working with Autism to support our participant. This is an easy and highly rewarding role supporting a young boy after school who lives with his grandfather.

The schedule is for:

Tuesdays: 3:30-7PM

Fridays: 3:30-7PM

You would meet the boy with his grandfather at a park in Revesby where he will play for about 30 minutes before going to the grandfathers unit in Yagoona. This will involve general post school tasks like getting his clothes ready, keeping the boy company, some personal care (he is in Pull-Ups as he is still toilet training), playing a bit. The grandfather would also like someone who can help the participant work on his speech goals (made by his speech therapist) such as practising sentences, and developing share-play skills.



He has been improving greatly over the last few months. Sometimes the shift may not go the full 3.5 hours but you will still be paid the full time. The participant does not have aggressive behaviours.

Pay is $38.50/hr and requires an ABN (this takes about 5-10 minutes to apply for, I am happy to help)
