Community & Personal Support Worker – AMOR Caring

As part of our growing team, we are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community & Personal Support Workers to provide high-quality care to our clients.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Support clients with mobility assistance, transfers, and use of assistive devices.
- Provide meal preparation and assistance with feeding if required.
- Perform light household duties, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
- Facilitate community participation, including social outings, recreational activities, and shopping.
- Provide transportation support for medical appointments and errands.
- Monitor and report on clients’ physical and emotional well-being to relevant healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications if qualified and trained.
- Implement therapeutic activities as per the client’s care plan.
- Maintain accurate records of care and support provided.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including infection control procedures.
- Follow the NDIS Code of Conduct and organizational policies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Community Services, Aged Care, Disability Support, or a related field..

Experience:





- A minimum of one year of professional experience in the nominated field or a related field
- Experience in working with diverse populations, handling complex care requirements, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams is highly desirable.
